****** Important information below. from politico.com ’60 Minutes’ on ” Honest Graft’ CBS’ 60 Minutes went after Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), and Financial Services Committee Chairman Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.) in a Sunday story covering allegations of insider trading and “soft corruption” by powerful members of Congress. 60 Minutes based its report, which also focused on former Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) and ex-Sen. Judd Gregg (RN.H.), on research by Peter Schweizer, a fellow at the conservative Hoover Institution. Schweizer said he and his team of eight student researchers found “forms of honest graft” by lawmakers. “So it’s not illegal, but I think it’s highly unethical, I think it’s highly offensive, and wrong,” Schweizer told 60 Minutes of what he discovered. Schweizer was a speechwriting consultant for former President George W. Bush and helped write a book with conservative commentator Glenn Beck. He is also listed as the editor of website run by conservative journalist Andrew Breitbart. Schweizer’s official bio at the Hoover Institution says he is a “former consultant to NBC News” and has “also served as a member of the Ultraterrorism Study Group at the US government’s Sandia National Laboratory.” The allegations regarding Bachus, Hastert and Gregg covered by 60 Minutes are several years old and have received extensive media coverage already. Dr. Paul can never? be bought by corporations or lobbyists, because he has only one “master” that he follows, The Constitution. Check him out, read deeper into his message and you’ll see, he is truly different. He IS our only Hope.

nevermind those “tighter” proposed rules for congressional stock trading… they should not be allowed to own stock period. They are making policy – there is no way that they can? separate their personal interest from the situation! this is beyond sickening! these professional criminals need to be publicly executed!

When are people going to realize that there is no right and left anymore. They get their funding from the same people and corporations and they are all crooks and liars. They are all in on it and they all must go. Even Ron Paul is tainted. Because in the end? he too will do his masters bidding!
Remember,too, these are from the folks who are going to bring you healthcare- if you? think it will be great for Americans, why did they opt themselves out of it? If you scarificed and did what you had to do for a useful education, remember, these folks and their staffer’s (and family) get free tuition…well, free to them- you and I get to pay for it and get this ‘stellular’ leadership from them in return.

It would be nice to be able to make money by shorting a stock and knowing a company’s stock will drop by being a Congressman and just floating a rumor that Congress is going to call that company’s CEO to a hearing before Congress. So much for just creating a piece of legislation that would hurt an industry then having that industry’s lobbyist come give you campaign $ to stop that legislation. Now members of Congress want the $ to go? in their pockets and not just their campaign.
